Bluebird for my mother in law

Copy of 069 Rebel 007

This is my first card that I made after doing a ton of research on Splitcoast Stampers.  I learned there that Prismacolor Pencils were the way to go for coloring images.  So off to Micheals I went this afternoon to buy a few and some Gamsol to blend the colors with.  Gamsol was nowhere to be found and I improvised with Goo Gone.  Who knew that this was an art supply disguised as a cleaning product???

I stamped my image of my Martha Stewart bird stamp in timber brown Stazon ink, then colored it in with my very limited supply of Prisma's.  It was so fun and I can't wait to see what my MIL thinks.

I staged the card on an easel I got at Michales today, and inside my cardboard light box I made with poster board as an infinity sweep.  I am super happy with the results.  I can't wait to do more.
